There, I finally changed it.  I will try and be careful to change it up a more frequently in the future, but I am promising nothing....I will only "try."  So, for anyone who does not speak Spanish, the translation is "Remember your Creator in the days of your youth...."  Okay...don't wait until you are old and on your way out to finally commit to the relationship.  However, He is always waiting...on us :)

Anyway, I have just always thought that was a really good scripture, of course, all of the scriptures are good for us...but I just really like that one.  That is also the text that is on the picture you see there...so, that is another reason why I put it in the header, is because I can't even read that.  I just didn't want anyone staring at it for long periods of time, loosing sleep at night, etc., wondering what is on that picture on Angelica's Xanga.  Heheheee....no, I know none of you would do that.

Okay, well, I know this is not really that exciting of a weblog entry....but I just felt like explaining myself.  So, I hope everyone is looking forward to a wonderful weekend and that no one burns really bad while laying out....you know who you are :)  For those of you who know Spanish ...."Dios te bendiga!"

Last Friday night, I went with a friend of mine and my mother, after dinner, to see a French movie out at LSUA called Carnages.  I won't go over all the details of the movie, but there was bull who died tragically in a bullfight and after he died, different parts of his body ended up in the possession of a handful of different people....none of them really knew one another and were not aware of their each having a piece of this bull.  For example, one lady ate some of his meat in a restaurant, one man owned the set of horns,....he was into taxidermy....a little girl saw the bullfight on TV....the bullfighter...who was in a coma in the hospital due to this fight...had the ears....a scientist studied the eyes in a lab...and a dog got one of his bones via his masters buying it for him from the supermarket in France.  All these people were affected someway or another and it was all centered around this bull.  Basically, the movie showed how people are connected by even just one thing without them ever knowing it.

Maybe it is not exactly like that....I don't think that we are all connected by a "bull."  However, I do think that we are all connected somehow and that is why it is so important for us to pray for one another.  There is a lady, whom I ordered a tea pot from ....she emailed me today to inform me that she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.  She has faith and knows that God is willing and able to heal her.  I believe that outside of her having the tea pot in her boutique that I was looking for, God used that as a way to connect us, so that I would be able to lift a fellow believer up in prayer in her...we are connected via a tea pot....God works in mysterious ways :)

A Late Night On Gmail:  The things ppl discuss on the 25th of February

Elizabeth: w00t.
  you survived the Young's?
me: yeah :) it was pretty nice actually
  how is your evening going?
Elizabeth: it was good until I came out here.
11:49 PM me: why?
Elizabeth: And then, upon beholding my presents, after AN HOUR AND HALF ALONE!!, I was not so.
  *not so good.
me: twins left you a surprise? I figured
 Elizabeth: nods
me: that was payback for you going out on the weekend
instead of staying home with them
as they feel a mother should...lol
Elizabeth: But they had JUST been out.
11:50 PM me: mom's outfit looks really cute :)
11:51 PM Elizabeth: I found some random pants at Wallyworld on the way home.
Long enough - stripes. Blue, tan, greenish.
 me: oh year?
  how random?
  as in Cheap?
  coolio
 Elizabeth: Cheap and LONG enough.
  happy
 me: sweet!!!
 Elizabeth: ha!
  They are sulking.
  They know I am mad.
11:52 PM me: awe....poor boys
Elizabeth: (could it be because I locked them up in the bedroom while I cleaned up>)
brb - vacuuming my room real quick
me: they probably feel like they are the ones that should be mad at you
  okie dokie
11:55 PM Elizabeth: backers
11:58 PM me: hey, if I take a little while to answer
don't think that I have abandoned you
11:59 PM I am checking out this e-card from my sister
12:00 AM Elizabeth: aha
  I see how it is.
12:01 AM me: hey
where was that dating card you showed me
I wanted to show it to mom
you know, the one you want to send to ryan
12:02 AM I'm waiting.....*tapping fingers on desk*
  where you is?
  slow poke
12:03 AM ms. holden up the show
  turtle
  snail
hey...what did the snail say when it was riding the turtles back?
Elizabeth: I was taking out the pups.
They suddenly decided they had to go.
  Again.
 me: yeah, yeah
12:04 AM Elizabeth : AND. I now know who the culprit of earlier this evening was.
 me: answer the riddle
Elizabeth: Slow down! You're going to fast!
  :looking for the card:
 me: no.....WEEEEEE!!!!
12:05 AM can you gmail it to me or something?
Elizabeth: as soon as I find it, yepers.
 me: tatu
12:06 AM so, who was the culprit?
oh...I got an email this evening and the jip ain't pregnant :(
 Elizabeth: aw. :(
  Moulie.
12:07 AM me: that's okay though, because she did descover that she is in heat, so she will breed her next week
 Elizabeth: sweet!
me: since this is a repeat breeding...not the jips first time around the block, in other words, she expects that she will get puppies from this and they will be ready in May
12:08 AM yeah :)
how's it going with the card hunt?
 Elizabeth: was sending it.
and then the program shut down.
me: that moulie!!! shakes finger at screen
12:09 AM  that stinks
Elizabeth: No joke. It really did
me: are you going to give it another shot?
 Elizabeth: yeppers
12:10 AM me: tatu
 Elizabeth: sending.
12:11 AM me: I am guessing that moulie didn't go potty when they went out this time and that is how you found out he was the guilty one?
12:12 AM Elizabeth: yes!
  You teh smrat.
12:13 AM me: ok...the card is here, so if it takes me a little while to chat, you'll know what I am doing.....thanks for the compliment....bad moulie!!
12:15 AM gets me everytime...that is just too funny!!!
where do you find that card when you get to hallmark?
  is there a date section?
  or is it under romance?
12:16 AM are you taking the boys out again?
  oh...there you are
  :)
Elizabeth: I found it under 'just because'.
12:17 AM me: cute...I think I would like to send that to my sister :)
I think she would find it hillarious
 Elizabeth: I loves it alot.
me: did you send it to him?
 Elizabeth: not yet, no.
me: did you have a stern talk with moulie?
maybe moulie needs and e-card from hallmark
12:18 AM Elizabeth: Not a verbal talk, but an actions and attitude talk.
me: and he would behave better
you didn't spank him did you?\
Elizabeth: in addition to messing the carpets, he also ran out of the house when I left the door cracked open to air it out.
  oh, heavens no.
   just ignored him.
me: so...he knew he had sinned...hmmm
12:19 AM Elizabeth: and had to holler at him and chase him down to bring him back.
He is now waiting for me to go to bed so he can go in the bedroom and sleep in my round chair.
He has to wait up for me, though. Don't know why.
me: well....sounds like a tyical mother of a teenager scenerio
  single mom at that
12:20 AM Elizabeth: I know.
me: well, he probably feels a little guilt
Elizabeth: They're like all ages at one time.
  One can only hope.
me: and is now trying to make it up to you, by waiting up for you
12:21 AM you know....typical teenager brown-nosing their single mom trick
 Elizabeth: nods
me: it is tough being a single mom...I know
Titus is a teenager too now
and we have issues every now and then
12:22 AM I am glad there is only one of him
  but...he is mine :)
Elizabeth: Two is enough to drive you crazy.
me: I just hope titus likes or at least accepts the new kid when she comes
12:23 AM I thought about having a talk with him...to explain
you know....that I don't love him any less
12:24 AM but, I thought about ultimately ending it with ...."treat her mean and when she is grown, she might eat you...when I am not looking, of course."
  tough love
gotta prepare your kids for life
Elizabeth: That sounds like a good approach to take.
12:25 AM me: I just was trying to find something that would be affective, you know.....you gotta think beyond them
12:26 AM "them" being males, however, that is not difficult to do and ask Esther,,....they are easily munipulated
Elizabeth : Moulie is pouting close to my feet now.
  He wants Cheetos.
12:27 AM me: don't give in....for his sake...I mean, anytime you think about giving in...think of my grandparents' dog
 Elizabeth: haha
12:28 AM I would never give my boys real food.
Just think what it might do to their fragile stomachs!!
me: or Esther...although...she did that without our help....she did that by beating Titus off his grub

This is the most beautiful niece to ever come to earth and I don't want to hear any lip from any of you hags out there....unless you are agreeing with me :)  Her name is Kira Alise Totman and she is perfect....at least I think so.  My mom would agree with me....this is the first grand-baby.  I have also discovered that this child, though only being out of the womb since Sunday morning at 2:51...yeah...no sleep that weekend for any of us, is highly intelligent.  She detests stocking caps, socks...but especially hand mittens.  She is very successful at removing these mits.  She simply tucks one little hand under the other arm and pulls the hand out of the mit...then repeats the method with the other hand....so that the end result is that both of her beautiful little "piano" hands, if I might add, are free.  See...I told you she was smart....I go so far as to say genius!!!  Just in case y'all can't already tell....I adore her :)

The New Year is already starting out good.  My mom and I are back in our home and are no longer living out of our suitcases.  We are sleeping in our own beds....taking in the joys of having our own bathrooms and knowing where everything is in the kitchen.....Life....is sweet :)  I am so glad that we have such an excellent family.....that Jones clan on a hill overlooking the lake Nantachie....they rock!!! God bless everyone of them!!!  For real, because without them, we would have had no real place to go.  God always provides.  I won't bore anyone with the details of my New Year, but I just wanted to take a moment and say how wonderful life is.
